Laura C. Britton

Ms. Britton practices in our Albuquerque office. She began her legal career in 2005 in Asheville, North Carolina, where she represented clients on matters involving foreclosure and consumer credit. She went on to found the Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic at UNC School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, she was an adjunct professor of law at Loyola University Chicago, where she taught contract drafting and business law.

 

Ms. Britton draws on two decades of experience in all types of business and employment contracts. She has particular expertise working with businesses to unify their entire body of contracts into one cohesive set. She handles a wide range of transactions, employment cases, non-competes, public utility agreements, and contract negotiation and dispute resolution.

 

She is licensed to practice law in New Mexico, Illinois, and North Carolina.
