Mr. Bingham is a Director in the Farmington office. He received his B.A., with distinction, in 1978 from the University of Colorado, and his J.D., cum laude, in 1981 from Creighton University. He served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Santiago Campos and was a United States Magistrate Judge (part‑time) in Northwest New Mexico in 1993 and 1994. He is licensed and regularly practices in both Northwest New Mexico and Southwest Colorado. He is experienced in all phases of insurance defense and coverage litigation and routinely handles real estate, construction law, employment law, commercial transactions and litigation matters. His clients include San Juan College, Domino's Pizza, LLC, Key Energy Services, LLC, The Travelers Insurance Oil and Gas Group, and numerous oil and gas servicing companies. He also represents numerous medical practice groups. He was selected for inclusion in the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016 Best Lawyers in America. Additionally, Martindale‑Hubbell recognizes Mr. Bingham as an AV® Preeminent rated attorney, the highest rating available to any individual attorney. He is a Level III fully certified Professional Ski Instructor. He was a long‑time adult volunteer Boy Scout Leader.
