The firm represented the Defendant in a car accident case. The accident occurred at the intersection of Old Coors Boulevard SW and Coors Boulevard SW in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The Defendant admitted fault for causing the accident before trial. Plaintiff alleged soft tissue neck and low back injuries for which he received chiropractic care, lumbar transforaminal epidural injections and lumbar facet injections, following a lengthy gap in treatment. Plaintiff sought to recover his past medical bills in the amount of $40,000 and past lost wages in the amount of $10,600 on his job as a postal worker, along with substantial damages for pain and suffering. The jury awarded Plaintiff the total sum of $9,356, which was considerably less than the Plaintiff's pre-trial settlement demand, and less than the Defendant's last offer before trial.
